About Us

Pearl & Black is a charming cooperative of British artists talent-spotted by designer Caroline Bartl. Having studied graphic design at the Royal College of Art, Caroline set up Pearl & Black to help her host of talented designers show-off their witty and deliciously appealing greeting cards.

Pearl & Black love the work they do and are always on the look-out for dazzling new artists who are inquisitive, imaginative and enthusiastic about their craft. In addition to supporting home-grown artists, all Pearl & Black’s cards are sourced, printed and hand-made in the UK, with all their materials eco-certified and FSC from the Lake District.

Pearl & Black cards can be found at top London names such as Liberty of London, Selfridges, as well as various boutique gift shops with an eye for the quirky and individual.
